From Spokane take Highway 395 north about 45 miles to Addy. Exit left on the south edge of town on the Addy-Gifford Road. Follow this road over the summit for about 15 miles. Be sure to take a right after 8 miles when you see the road to Summit Valley School as this is the road you want. The road continues down to the Columbia River. Take a left on the river road and go 3 miles to the Gifford Ferry. The Ferry runs every half hour.
