To Promote life-long learning, respect, and citizenship

Each student should be taken from where he or she is academically and socially to his or her optimum level of preparation for career, college, and life.

    Belief Statements (Value):

    • We believe our chief priority is a safe learning environment built upon self-discipline, cooperation, and communication, which affects learning and is enhanced by our community and culture.
    • We believe all have a shared responsibility for their own learning.
    • We believe all people have dignity, worth, and value.  Each person deserves to be treated with respect and fairness and equity.
    • We believe the development of skills and perspectives that encourage lifelong learning will increase career choices and quality of life.
    • We believe optimum learning is balanced by clear and high expectations with acceptance and encouragement.
    • We believe that building the capacity of all staff is tied to evaluation, student performance, with effective teaching strategies used to engage students in learning.
