I am excited to return to northeastern Washington to lead Inchelium School District No. 70 as its superintendent. Throughout my entire career, I focused on students by working with staff to build a team to provide the opportunities needed for an outstanding education. Inchelium is not new to me as I traveled here to play basketball in the “old” gym as a St. George’s “Dragon.” My teaching career began in Republic as I taught industrial education (woods, metals, drafting). For the past fourteen years, I’ve worked as a principal, then superintendent with elementary principal duties in Pomeroy, WA. My goal in Inchelium is to work with the school board, community, parents, staff, and students in a way that creates an educational system that supports learning for all students leading to career and college preparation.
